How to play
- The six cats, Ziggy, Lila, Scyannah, Skye, Toulouse and Berlioze, march down in rows towards Nalou’s bone, just like in good old Space Invaders.
- Keep your finger (or the mouse) on the garden: Nalou follows it and fires her water pistol. Keyboard: arrows to move, space to fire. The tank empties fast and refills by itself: aim well.
- A wet cat backs off. Soaked, it goes home to sulk. A cat that reaches the bottom steals a bone: after three stolen bones, the game is lost.
- Seven waves, seven tricks: umbrellas, boots, balls of yarn, raincoats, a laser… Each wave, Nalou gets a new gadget (Gadget button or G key): fan, mud puddle, frisbee, sprinkler, vacuum, and finally the fire hose.
- Each cat has its quirk: Scyannah takes more water, Skye falls asleep on the way, Berlioze dodges, Lila and Ziggy rush, and Toulouse wants a cuddle: tap him when he shows a heart and he goes home happy.
- Watch out for the paint pots the cats throw: if one hits Nalou, blots cover the garden and hide the cats for a few seconds. Dodge them!
- Don’t fire at random! A squirt that hits a paint pot makes it burst in mid-air. The blue tit crossing the sky must not get wet: −30 points and Nalou freezes in shame. Wetting the neighbour’s washing, hung across the middle of the garden, makes her cross: she confiscates the tank. And the wasps’ nest: stung, Nalou fires in all directions for a few seconds.
- Accuracy pays: every three hits in a row raise the points multiplier (up to ×5). A squirt into thin air resets it to ×1.
- Now and then, the cats break into a sprint. Some hide behind a saucepan lid, which takes two squirts of water.
- Three levels: Easy to get started, Medium with sprints and traps, Hard with traps from the second wave, more lids, more yarn and a slower tank.
- Cats sometimes drop a bonus: golden kibble (rapid fire), cucumber (the cats jump back), box (a cat settles in and everybody stops), spare bone.
